Most people who reach out have already tried a few things.

They’ve read the books, done general therapy, maybe tried medication. Something helped a little. But the OCD is still running the show. The anxiety still spikes when it matters most. The trauma still shows up uninvited.

What’s usually missing isn’t effort. It’s the right approach, applied correctly, by someone who has actually trained in it — not just read about it. That’s a meaningfully different thing.

This practice focuses on a small set of conditions: OCD, anxiety, trauma, and BFRBs. Not because that’s what comes in, but because that’s what I’ve chosen to specialize in deeply — and do well.

What I specialize in

Each requiring specific clinical training and evidence-based treatment.

OCD & ERP

Intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and the exhausting effort of managing them. Treated with ERP grounded in Inhibitory Learning — not just CBT.

OCD Therapy →

Anxiety

Not just coping — building the flexibility to engage with your life even when anxiety shows up. ACT-based, values-focused.

Anxiety Therapy →

Trauma & EMDR

EMDR works with how the brain stores distressing memories — not by talking about them indefinitely, but by processing them so they carry less charge.

Trauma Therapy →

BFRBs

Hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting. Treated with HRT — a specialized behavioral approach that general therapy typically doesn’t cover.

BFRB Therapy →

What therapy here actually looks like

This is a private practice — not a group clinic. You’ll work with one clinician from the first call to the last session. The caseload is intentionally small.

It starts with a free 15-minute fit call. No intake forms. Just a direct conversation about what you’re dealing with and whether this approach is the right match. If it is, we schedule your first session and build a treatment plan together from there.

The work is rigorous and evidence-based. It is also deeply human. These aren’t the same thing, and this practice tries to hold both.

If this sounds like the right kind of care, the next step is a free call.

Fifteen minutes. No forms. Just a direct conversation about whether this is a fit.

Common questions

Do you take insurance?

This practice is private pay only — $200 per session. Out-of-network reimbursement rates are on the Pricing page. Ask your insurer about your out-of-network benefits before assuming you won’t be reimbursed.

What states are you licensed in?

Telehealth sessions are available for clients in Texas, Washington, New Hampshire, and Florida. All sessions are via HIPAA-compliant video.

What happens on the first call?

The free consult is 15 minutes — not a session. A direct conversation about what’s going on and whether this approach is the right fit. No forms, no pressure. If it’s a fit, we schedule from there.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on the condition and how fully you engage with the process. Most clients see meaningful progress within 12–20 sessions for OCD and anxiety; trauma work varies more. A treatment plan with a realistic timeline is built together at intake. Individual results vary.
